Karen Valles holds a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Texas at El Paso. Ms. Valles started dancing in high school, in the color guard team at East Lake High school under the direction of Robert Gallegos and David Gomez. They helped her make the top ten scholastic open guard finalist at the Winter Guard International. After high school, Karen decided to pursue dance at the University of Texas at El Paso.While at UTEP, Valles had the opportunity to train with Lisa Smith, Myron Nadel, Leanne Rinelli, and Hannah Fisher; she also had the chance to perform in different works such as Iconic Pop by Leanne Rinelli, Spark by Brandon Ray Alba, Heart Hands by Hanna Fisher.Valles has been dedicated to self-discovery through movement, and she's grateful for the impact that it has made in her life.
